Feature requests: WebBrowser and RichTextBox
Hi,
I would like to know if you have plans to implement these two controls in the future: WebBrowser and RichTextBox.
I can eventually see workarounds for the second (at least in my usecase), but the first seems quite hard to do.
Thanks,
Alexandre.

Re: Feature requests: WebBrowser and RichTextBox
I am sorry to say that both features are not planned right now. For the web browser you could use one of the open source projects to render to texture and share it with noesisGUI (an user tried this, with uWebKit viewtopic.php?f=12&t=591).
Right now, we are working to fully support inlines in the next major version of noesisGUI (1.3)

Alright, thank you for your answer.
Glad to see rich texts are coming. Do you have an approximative release date for the 1.3?

Re: Feature requests: WebBrowser and RichTextBox
As we failed in the past giving dates they only thing I can say right now is "not soon". Sorry for not giving more details.
Anyway, we are already releasing internal alphas of v1.3. As soon as this feature is implemented we could send you a preview version.
Thanks!

Hi,
Do you have some news about the RichTextBox feature?
Thanks,
Alexandre.

Re: Feature requests: WebBrowser and RichTextBox
Text inlines will be part of 1.3 although this version is not going to be released anytime soon. You can create a ticket about it (about inlines not about RichTextBox because it is not part of the roadmap) to track the development if you want.
Meanwhile, I recommend you emulating the inlines. We have done it in several demos.

Alright, thank you for the feedback

Re: Feature requests: WebBrowser and RichTextBox
Inlines are already implemented in 2.0. No plans for RichTexBox for now.

Re: Feature requests: WebBrowser and RichTextBox
Replying to an old thread to ask about RichTextBox/FlowDocumentScrollViewer.
I am looking into the things TextBlock with inlines cannot do for us, and it seems to boil down to indentation, like in indented lists. Notably continuing the indentation after an automatic word wrap in a multiline text is something we cannot do manually with a single TextBlock AFAIK.
Is RichTextBox indeed the right and only way to achieve indentation?
And is there something Noesis can do here with or without support for RichTextBox?
