Summary | 0003215: Component Root Dimension (Master) Overwrites 'Placed' Component Dimension (Instance)
Description | It appears that if a Component is created, any Dimension specified in the Component Root becomes its permanent dimension, and cannot have its size permanently overwritten where the Component is employed. Or in other words: It appears as though the 'Master' Dimensions overwrite the 'Instance' Dimensions. Attached Video Sample.
Steps To Reproduce | Repro Steps: 1) Create a Page 2) Create a Component, and specify a fixed Height and Width Dimension on its Root layer. 3) Drag the Component into the Page, and assign it a Dimension within the Page. Observe how the Component Resizes. 4) Close the Page. 5) Re-Open the Page. Observe how the dimensions of the Component are those set in the Root, an longer those specified at the Page-Level. Expected Results: The Dimension set at the highest level of the hierarchy takes precedence over dimensions set at lower levels.
