Summary0003376: Patterns Around Invitations to Name Created Items are Inconsistent.
Description

Currently, within Studio, when creating:

  • A new Folder
  • A new Page/Component/ResourceDictionary
  • A new Data Structure
  • A new Data Property

The user is automatically put into focus on the new item as its created, as is invited to immediately input a name for their new 'thing' they created.

However, the following do not follow this same pattern:

  • A new Storyboard
  • A new Data Set (instance)
  • A new resource.

And in these cases, the user is not invited to immediately name their newly-created 'thing'.

In my opinion, these should all be consistent, and we should encourage a flow in which users are naming things intentionally.
So, I think we should follow the pattern where users are immediately invited to rename their new item as of the moment they create it.

Steps To Reproduce

Repro Steps:

1) Create a Page
2) Create any of the 7 item types in the ticket Description.

Observe how renaming patterns are inconsistent.
