| Summary | 0004215: Properties Panel: Sort Element Name Alphabetically and/or allow user inputs (type, paste, etc.) with autocomplete | ||||
| Description | I posted about this on the forum as was asked by Jsantos to create a ticket: It is a challenge to find specifically named items in hierarchy when using the " name > element name" binding (like when you're using the selection of one on-screen ListBox to drive data to an information panel elsewhere on the screen). The order of the items in the element name list doesn't necessarily match the hierarchy order and you can't manually copy/type in a specific item into the field either, so if you have a project with many small or nested components, it can take awhile to find the item you're looking for. If it's not too complicated to implement it could sort automatically the navigator elements by alphabet. It would also be useful to be able to type/copy in the item you know you want, with an autocomplete if typing. Thanks | ||||
