| Summary | 0005028: Deleting A Resource Deselects Element In Navigator And Collapses Entire Navigator Hierarchy | ||||
| Description | Currently, if an Element is selected in the Navigator, and a Resource is deleted from the a Dictionary in the Resources Panel, the entire Navigator hierarchy will collapse, and remove the user's selection from the Element previously selected. This occurs even if the selected Element is unrelated to the deleted Resource. See attached video (in comments; it failed to attach on initial submission) Repro Steps: 1) In Studio, open any Project featuring a GlobalResources.xaml with Resources inside of it. 2) Navigate to the Resources Tab. 3) From the Navigator, expand Elements, and select any lower-level Element from the hierarchy. 3) In the open Resources Tab, select GlobalResources.xaml 4) Without clicking on any Resource, hover over any Resource unrelated to the Element selected, and press the 'Delete' icon. Observe how the Navigator hierarchy entirely collapses, and selection is removed from the Element that was selected prior to deletion. Expected Results: Deleting Resources doesn't cause the Navigator hierarchy to collapse, and for Elements to be deselected. | ||||
