| Summary | 0005286: Data Structure Can't Be Deleting Without First Deleting Its Data Set | ||||
| Description | Currently, we have many instances in Studio where removal of items of items in a 'project-destructive' manner is permitted:
However, we don not permit the deletion of Data Structure containing a Data Set, and instead require first manually removing the Data Set before being able to perform the deletion. See attached screenshot. Repro Steps: 1) Create a Studio Project featuring a MainPage.xaml 2) Navigate to the Data Panel, and create a Data Structure 3) Create a Data Set for the Data Structure created in Step 2). (Without any need to assign it to the Page root) 4) In the Data Panel, hover over the Data Structurecreated in Step 2), and click the 'Delete' icon. Observe how the Data Structure cannot be removed as it contains a Data Set, and a warning message appears informing of this. Expected Results: Attempting to Delete a Data Structure containing a Data Set, deletes all of its contained Data Sets alongside it. | ||||
