Re: Effects

Just wanted to provide an update. I found a good workaround for now. I disable input for the base Noesis view. This allows the overlay Noesis view to receive click events properly. _BaseLayerView.EnableKeyboard = false; _BaseLayerView.EnableMouse = false; _BaseLayerView.EnableTouch = false;

Re: navigation between panel

The experts here will likely provide a better explanation. I can share what I do. I have a single top level XAML element <UserControl></UserControl>. I then dynamically swap in user controls as needed to show and hide screens. As a first step, I had my screens declared in the XAML and set to hidden....

Re: Memory and Performance Implications of a Large Resource Dictionary

@jswigart. Thank you for the suggestion. Square root of 1000 is 31.6. 31.6 x 128 is a 4096x4096 texture. Thanks for sharing this! So if I have approximately 400 at 512x512, that's 64 images per 4096x4096 texture. That makes sense!

Re: Effects

Yes, two different cameras with independent Noesis views. I did this to accomplish the blur effect shown above. But as you can see in the video above, click events for the top layer are somehow obscured by the bottom layer. I tried changing order in the Unity hierarchy and also tried changing camera...

Re: [RC] NoesisGUI v2.2.0rc2

@jsantos and team -- congratulations on the momentum. The new doc, Differences Between NoesisGUI and WPF/UWP (https://www.noesisengine.com/docs/2.2/G ... rison.html) is very helpful. This topic addresses concepts that I was slow to understand. You guys have something very special here.

Re: [c++]How do you draw a line on a canvas in Noesis that is 1 pixel thick

I am very new to Noesis. But I just wanted to throw out a suggestion for something to try. What happens if you turn off PPAA (pixel perfect anti-aliasing) on the view?

Re: Effects

On the bottom layer (NoesisView) -- throwing up a top-level grid and setting enabled to false as a work-around does not work. Although the buttons are disabled (you can see the trigger to a disabled state) they still steal mouse down events. :(

Re: Effects

I don't want to distract from the last question -- which is a pretty big obstacle for me right now. I just saw that you asked for a screenshot showing off the two layers with post-processing applied to the bottom layer for blur. Here it is:

Re: Effects

Re: above -- here is a video showing the behavior. You can't see it but I am left clicking furiously on the button. https://bit.ly/2u4S1ax (85MB). Once the cursor moves off a UI element that should be obscured by the the element higher on z-index (based on depth order of camera and views) you can se...

Re: Effects

If I have two layers which layer receives click events first? Is it based on camera depth (this would make sense to me) or order in hierarchy? I'm finding button click events are obscured by buttons that exist on the lower layer. i.e. (layer 10 buttons steal events from layer 11 buttons).
