How to reference the built-in Noesis styles by path in Unity?

16 Nov 2024, 12:06

When I create a new project, I create my own ResourceDictionary to set as the Application Settings. However, this replaces the Noesis style. To overcome this, I usually just copy the styles into my assets folder and reference them like this:
    <ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries>
        <ResourceDictionary Source="/Assets/.../NoesisTheme.Brushes.DarkBlue.xaml" />
        <ResourceDictionary Source="/Assets/.../NoesisTheme.Styles.xaml" />
    </ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries>
Is there a path I can use to avoid having to duplicate them into my Assets folder? Is it possible to reference them in my Packages folder?

Hi,

You should use our plugin's package folder:
<ResourceDictionary Source="/Packages/com.noesis.noesisgui/Theme/NoesisTheme.DarkBlue.xaml"/>
