Missing "Dynamic Types" under Data

01 Aug 2025, 20:24

To whom it may concern,

I’ve downloaded Noesis Studio 0.1.236 for Windows and wanted to evaluate it for creating UIs. I was following one of your tutorials here:
However, when I get to the data binding section, I don’t have the Dynamic Types group that is displayed in the tutorial. See Image.

There are actually a few things that are different about the layout of what’s in the tutorial and what’s in the EXE I’ve downloaded, but I’ve been able to work around those. However, I can’t continue with the data binding section because I can’t figure out an alternate way of creating the bindings shown in the tutorial.

Is there a workaround I am missing?

Thank you for any assistance,
Alex

Please disregard. The info I was looking for was in the properties panel on the right after creating a new Data Structure.

Hi jalexg, Dorian here! I'm glad you were able to resolve this successfully and find your way around the updated Data Panel.

I'll just take advantage of this thread, in case anyone else is onlooking, to add a few more notes to what you mentioned:

Since the original walkthrough was filmed back in the day, we did bring in a couple rounds of UI/UX evolutions to it, and streamlined the mechanics of Data-wrangling quite a bit. As a result, the way that it works now, is that the Data Panel on the left is the place to manage Data Structures, Enums, and Data Sets...and their contents on the other hand, are now set by selecting any of these items, and editing their values in the Properties Panel on the right:

For more details about the ins-and-outs of how this all works, we have a section in our Documentation related to this:

📘 Data Configuration [Noesis Studio Documentation]

Or, for a slightly wider view of the subject of Data, we've also got a little video that covers how all of this works at a high-level:

Thanks again for taking the time to both post, and follow-up! If there's anything else, don't hesitate, always happy to jump in and help!
