Newspaper showcase - long formated text, text flows around the image
Hi,
You do great job out there!
I would like to ask you for direction/advice:
Using Noesis Studio I see
-TextBlock which can handle formatted text, but it should be used for short text.
-TextBox which can handle long but unformatted text.
What would you suggest to use if you were creating let's say Newspaper? I mean
Long formatted text
Localization
Text flows around imported image. I see this is not supported so I have to imitate that flow between text objects manually. With TextBox it seems easier as it provides all needed methods as GetLastVisibleLineIndex() GetCharacterIndexFromLineIndex() GetLineLength(). With TextBlock it may be more tricky.
What would you prefer and why?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions and advice.
Best regards,
Miro

In WPF, Flow Document is available for this kind of things. This is still not implemented in Noesis (#1765).
The only workaround is using FormattedText and manually handing the paragraphs. It is not an easy task though.
