| Summary | 0004485: Deleting Certain Keyframe Properties Can Cause Storyboard Layers To Change Order | ||||
| Description | Currently, it can occur that removing certain keyframes (but not all) from an Element in a Storyboard, can result in the Layer Order in the Storyboard changing from what was originally displayed. This is a very minor issue, but in the absence of being able to manually re-order Storyboard layers, creators could depend on the order in which they keyed their animations as a way to ensure organisation and readability of their Storyboards. This could potentially be solved alongside the attached 4250 which offers as a stretch goal, the ability to manually re-order Storyboard layers. Repro Steps: 1) Download and open the attached Project. 2) On the MainPage, right click on the 'Unity' tile on the right of screen, and open the ContentControl/Content Template for edit. 3) Select the Unity tile once again, and right click on it, and open the next ContentControl/Content Template for edit. 4) Navigate to the Animation Panel's 'Visual States' tab, and select the 'Hovered' State. 5) Within the Storyboard, expand all items for the first-in-the-list 'Image_Mater_Base_Border' Element, and identify the RenderTransform keyframes. 6) Delete all RenderTransform Keyframes, without removing the 'Opacity' keyframe. Observe how the 'Image_Mater_Base_Border' Element has changed order from the topmost in the Storyboard, to the bottom-most. Expected Results: Removing individual keyframes doesn't change the display order of Elements in the Storyboard panel. | ||||
